Center for the Advancement of Sustainable Tourism (CAST)
An important challenge for the Adirondack Park is the expansion of the regions economy while protecting environmental quality and community character. With this in mind, the Center for the Advancement of sustainable Tourism is helping the regions communities plan for economic expansion while protecting core assets which form the basis for attracting visitors to the Adirondacks.
On May 8, 2003, Ernest Hohmeyer made a presentation to the Adirondack Park Agency on CAST and its efforts to advance sustainable tourism within the Adirondack Park. The Adirondack Park Agency expresses its appreciation to Mr. Hohmeyer for his presentation.
